13:26. “నీవు రాకుంటే, దయచేసి నా సోదరుడు అమ్నోనును నాతో పంపించు” మని అబ్షాలోను అడిగాడు. “అతడు నీతో ఎందుకు రావాలి?” అని దావీదు రాజు అడిగాడు.

13:26. అయితే దావీదు వెళ్ల నొల్లక అబ్షాలోమును దీవించి పంపగా అబ్షాలోమునీవు రాకపోయిన యెడల నా అన్నయగు అమ్నోను మాతోకూడ వచ్చునట్లు సెలవిమ్మని రాజుతో మనవి చేసెను. అతడు నీయొద్దకు ఎందుకు రావలెనని రాజు అడుగగా

13:26. Then Absalom said, "If you will not go, then let my brother Amnon go with us." The king replied to him, "Why should he go with you?"

13:26. "Well, then," Absalom said, "if you can't come, how about sending my brother Amnon with us?" "Why Amnon?" the king asked.
